Marilynn Meyer, 55, entered into rest after a short fight with cancer on Friday, May 26, 2023.

She was born in August of 1967 and raised in Augusta, Georgia before making her home and raising her family in Williston, South Carolina. Marilynn was a spicy character who will be remembered for doing exactly what she wanted to do when she wanted to do it.

She now joins her husband of over 30 years, Phil Meyer; her loving parents, Leo Preuss Sr. and Ruby Turlington Preuss; and her little brother, George E. Preuss, in eternal rest.

Marilynn is survived by two daughters, Jessica Spradley (Tiffany) and Brandi Mauldin; five grandchildren, Hunter Spradley, Sullivan Spradley, Cameron Caroline Spradley, Autumn Mauldin, and Dex Meyer; sister, Ruby Debban (Bill); brother, Leo Preuss Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There are no formal arrangements for a memorial at this time. At her request Marilynn is to be cremated and interred with her parents in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Augusta, Georgia.
