MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest at her residence on November 21, 2015, Mrs. Marie N. Michaels, wife of the late Ernest Michaels. Marie was the daughter of the late Jim and Eleano Newman. She was retired from Dymo Products. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW 192. The family would like to thank the nurses of Gentiva Hospice: Michelle, Deena, Amy, Jessica, Emily. They also would like to thank her dear friend and neighbor, Veronica Biggs, for her care. She was preceded in death by her five sons, Tim, Wayne, Jerry, Terry, John Michaels. Survivors: son, Ronnie, and wife, Susan Michaels, Martinez; one brother, Bennie Newman, Augusta; cousin, Margaret Williams, Martinez; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 24, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 24, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at King Funeral Home. Family and friends will assemble at the graveside.
