Mariano Mujica Mujica, 82, of Hephzibah, passed away on February 26, 2025.

Mariano, also known by his three daughters as "Papi" or "Daddy", was born on April 30, 1942, he was 83years old when he passed.  He lived a good, long life; overcoming obstacles and challenges from a child. He was a warrior.  Daddy proudly served in the US Army for more than 20 years.  He earned many accolades of leadership and valor as he was a valuable soldier on the battlefield in Vietnam and later working for Intelligence.  He was a lively spirit, he enjoyed humor, music, playing dominos, watching boxing, and his "chow".  He was also the proud husband of more than 30 years to Nidza, with whom he had a loving and inseparable bond.  He had three daughters who he loved dearly:  Chiqui, Rosa, & Betsy.  Daddy fought against dementia for 4-5 years.  He never lost his value for living life, nor his sense of humor, and appetite.  He had the ability even through his condition to make a lot of people smile. His primary caregivers, Nidza & Rosa, received help from two Godsent Angels:  Jani & Zuleyka (and her boys), which always brought him joy.  His caregivers from Hospice and VA, were also remarkable.  He left this world as he desired, bravely, and in his home with God, Nidza and Rosa.  We know that God received him on February 26, 2025th with open arms.  He now rests and for that we, his family, have comfort and solace.
