Mrs. Margaret Anne Hewitt Newby, age 80, beloved wife of the late Heywood Cluese Newby, entered into rest, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Westwood Extended Care. Mrs. Newby was born in Augusta to the late Steve and Margaret Hewitt. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be graveside and held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Bobby Coleman officiating. Family members include a son, James C. Newby (Haize) of Grovetown, GA; 3 daughters, Libby Coleman (Bert) of Augusta, Dianne Rawlins (Phillip) of N. Augusta, SC., and Nancy Ferrel (Dan) of Grovetown, GA; a sister, Shelia Fray (Glenn) of Augusta; 8 grandchildren, Kayleigh, Grady, Heather, April, Kevin, Stephanie, Zachary, and Grayson and 5 great grandchildren, Jaylyn, Ethan, Trenton, Abigail, and Waylon.
