(Lynn) AUGUSTA, Ga. - Lynn Sappington passed away on May 12th at her home in Augusta, GA. She was known for her always present smile and her friendly disposition. Lynn was born August 14, 1940 in Evansville, IN. to the late Joseph and Ruth Hitch. Her brother William E. Hitch is predeceased. She is survived by her sons, Brett Nicholson and his wife Rhonda of San Marcos, CA, Craig Nicholson of San Diego, CA; granddaughter, Makena Lynn Nicholson of Oceanside, CA; and sister, Judith Hitch Oldham of Evansville, IN; and two nephews and a niece. Lynn worked at the Medical College of Georgia for 22 years and 20+ years at the Family Y where she retired as the Active Older Adult Director.
