EVANS, Ga. - Entered into rest on August 25, 2014 at Westwood Nursing Center, Mrs. Louise Etterle, wife of the late Johnnie H. Etterle of Augusta. Louise was the daughter of the late Elijah and Leola McKay Barrertine. She retired from Southern Bell after 38 years of service. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Alice Chilton. Survivors: daughter, Cheryl Ciresa, Tucson, Az; son, John "Sonny" Etterle and wife Kathy of Perkinston, Ms.; grandchildren, John Alex Chilton and wife Heidi, Stephen Etterle, Eric Noth, B. J. Etterle, Suzette Chilton; four nieces and a number of great and great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. K. C. Stevens officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 27, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas L. King Funeral Home. Family and friends will assemble at the graveside.
