It is with profound sadness that the family of Linda Kay Rennick, 72, of Martinez, GA announces her peaceful passing at her home on Thursday, February 23,2023, after a brief battle with cancer.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Norma Langer; her sister, Barbara Jean; and husband, Daniel Allen Rennick. She is survived by her children, Amy Rennick, of Augusta, GA, and Christopher Rennick, of Martinez, GA. She was born to the late Ernest and Norma Langer on May 21,1950 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Linda graduated from Benton Harbor High in 1968. She married the late Daniel Allen Rennick August 29,1970. They lived in Midland, MI, and Dana Point, CA, before settling in Martinez, GA, in 1984. Linda received a BA in Elementary Education from Augusta College in 1996. She later received an MS in Informational Technology. She was a member of Gamma Delta Sorority. She taught 4th grade math and science at Blue Ridge Elementary for just over 20 years. After her retirement in 2017, she became a Docent at the Morris Museum of Art and volunteered for various events at Blue Ridge Elementary. She loved to work in her garden and cook for her family. She was an animal lover and always had a dog (Juno). She loved going on beach trips with her girlfriends and spending time with friends and family in Michigan. She was also an avid reader and loved going to Jazzercise. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her care team at Southeast Hospice. To honor her wishes, there will be no memorial service.
