LeDan Eugene Peace, 71, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023.

LeDan was born in 1951, son of Eddie "Tex" Peace and Ann (Palmer) Peace. Both were owners and master tattooists of the world famous Eddie Peace Tattoo Studio in Augusta, Georgia. LeDan attended and graduated from Aquinas High School. LeDan married his beloved soul mate in 1971. They were as one, always together forever. He was a kind and caring gentleman who will forever love his wife, family, and friends. LeDan was an avid hiker, with many trips and trails completed in the Great Smoky Mountains, which was their second home. He was a legendary tattoo artist/historian, and also a performing magician. During LeDan's tenure with the Eddie Peace Tattoo Studio, he had the privilege of working along side his mother, father, brother, wife, and sons. The amazing quality of their work and the extensive history of the artists led the shop to be truly world famous. LeDan is preceded in death by his father, Eddie "Tex" Peace; his mother, Ann Peace; and his grandson, Carley Peace. LeDan is survived by his beloved wife, Jennie Peace; his brother, Bill Peace; his daughter, NaDina (Chris) Junkins; his sons, Daniel (Heidi) Peace, and Noel (Rebecca) Peace; and his grandchildren, Caroline Peace, Anna Peace, Jade Peace, Slade Peace, Austin Hubert, Matthew Hubert, and Evan Hubert. Through LeDan's amazing life he became friends with thousands of people all over the world, a true cornerstone of the tattoo industry. The tattoo world has lost one more legendary artist and historian. Peace Out and Love always - it is all you need. A celebration of LeDan's life will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 15th, 2023, at the Sports Center, 594 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901. All are welcome to attend.
