Kwok King ("K.K.") Wong, 91, passed away on May 26, 2024 at his home in Augusta, GA. He was born on March 3, 1933 in Canton, China. He later immigrated with his family to the United States of America and became a naturalized citizen.

Kwok King Wong is survived by his wife, Elena Wong, four children, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren: Mei Liao and her husband, Jian Liao, See Ox Wong and his wife, Cui Xia Mei; Susan Juker and her husband, John C. Juker; Ronald Wong and his wife, Kimberly Wong. (Grandchildren) Suuki Liao and her spouse, Tony Liao and his spouse , Amy Wong and her spouse, Geoffrey Wong, and Madeline Wong, and 4 great-children.

"K.K." worked as chef in several chinese restaurants, later owned and operated them in Augusta and Atlanta in the 1970s. In 1980 he and his wife opened and operated the original Sun and Moon Kitchen on Walton Way Extension to serve great chinese food to the great Augusta area.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 31, 2024 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd. Augusta GA 30906. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd., Martinez GA 30907.

"K.K." will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
