Kimberly Michelle Shaver, 46, of Augusta, Georgia, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on September 11, 2024.  Her mother, father, and brother were by her side, and she was surrounded by family and the prayers of loving friends.

Kimberly was a graduate of Augusta Christian Schools.  She attended Mercer University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, and later completed a course of study at Piedmont Technical College to become a Registered Nurse.  Most recently, she studied at the Jesus School with Jesus Image in Orlando, Florida in preparation to become a missionary.

Kimberly unashamedly loved God and faithfully worshiped, testified, and bore witness of her love for Jesus Christ to all who would receive it.  She loved plants and nature, seeing beauty in all of God's creation.  She cherished God's gift of life, and that was evident by the choices and sacrifices she made, both in her personal relationships and in her role as a nurse.

Family and friends were precious to Kimberly.  She always looked forward to holidays, gatherings, worship services, work, school, and any opportunity to be with those she cared for.  She placed great value on connection with those people God placed in her path, finding the perfect gift or the best way to serve or encourage each person, and taking time to savor each event, conversation, and relationship.

Kimberly is survived by her father, David; her mother, Marietta; her brother, Chad; her sister-in-law Jenni; her niece, Emma; her nephew, Elliott; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides..

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 16 at 4:00 pm at The Sanctuary in Evans, GA. Florists please deliver flowers to the church.
