Keith Powers, 63, passed away on September 20, 2026.

Born on November 19, 1962, Keith will be remembered as a man with a strong work ethic and a gift for making people laugh. He was a workaholic in the truest sense, someone who gave himself fully to the responsibilities before him, while still bringing humor and lightness to those around him. His laughter and the laughter he inspired in others will remain a lasting part of his memory.

Keith found enjoyment in many simple and meaningful pleasures. He loved painting, gardening, and watching sports, especially the Braves and the Dawgs. These interests brought color, energy, and enjoyment to his life, and they are among the many things those who knew him will remember with affection.

He is survived by his spouse, Cheryl Powers. He also leaves behind his sisters, Kelly Powers and Lynn Powers. His family circle continues through his grandchildren, Joseph Mathis, Eden McKinney, Dawson Mathis, Alexis McKinney, Zaydien McKinney, and Eva McKinney, as well as many nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward with love.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Lee Powers; his mother, Gloria Powers; his sisters, Beth Broadwater and Kathy Seise; and his grandchild, Thomas Bachman.

Those who knew Keith will remember a man who worked hard, enjoyed life in his own way, and had a special ability to make others smile. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
