Dinah Kay Spinks, 68, of Augusta, passed away on October 18, 2024.

Kay was a lifelong resident of Augusta, and previously attended Crawford Ave. Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a sales representative at Rose's Department Store. She was an avid GA Bulldog Fan. She loved listening to music. Kay's love of music also led her to enjoy watching YouTube videos, especially Brantley Gilbert, and watching The Voice on TV. Kay also enjoyed watching wrestling, and her ginger ale and popsicles. Kay also loved Christmas where she enjoyed not only opening presents but giving them as well.

She is preceded in death by her father, Tommy Daniels; and her uncles, Kenneth McCoy and Herman "Buddy" McCoy.

Survivors include her children, Craig Hooks and Lisa Smith; her mother, Gloria Williams; her sister, Gwen Shealy (Mike); step-sister, Gerry Frazier; her Aunt, Dahlia McCoy; and her grandson, Jacob.

Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be held Monday, October 21, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Pendrey officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
