Kathy Lee Carver 64 years old went to be with the Lord and her soulmate Mark Carver on October 16, 2021. Her husband preceded her in death October 16, 2017. They had been married 39 years. She was born January 1, 1957 to William and Mary Hughes who preceded her in death. She is survived by three children Christy Sanchez of Augusta, Georgia, Joseph Carver of Marion, North Carolina and Mary Surrett of Leicester, North Carolina. Also survived by 9 grandchildren Jonathan, Ariel, Tamera, Kaleb, Kayla, Aiden, Lil Joe. Gracie, and Danielle, and by three great granddaughters Chevelle, Faith, and Isabella. She had a great grandson who will come in January. She is also survived by a sister Wilma Ann Hughes, a brother Eddie Hughes and a sister in law Janet Hughes all from North Carolina She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She had a light that showed so bright that everyone wanted to know her. She touched the lives of so many people who will forever be changed by her. She will be missed by many who loved her. She lived everyday to the fullest. She was the type of person to give you her last dollar if you needed it. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
