Entered into rest on October 11, 2018 Mrs. Kathleen Bartley Hibbard of Martinez, Ga. Mrs. Hibbard is preceded in death by her husband Mr. Lowell Hibbard. "Nana" as she was called by her family and friends was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Kathleen was retired from advertising sales. She was listed in the publication of Who's Who, a member of Suburban Women's Club of Augusta, Ga and a past president and a member of the Pinky's Club of Delaware. Kathleen was a founding member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church when it was located on Pleasant Home Road. Mrs. Hibbard was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Christine Bartley, a brother Leo Bartley, a sister Gladys Burns all from England and a daughter Rhonda Ann Steinkirchner of Martinez, Ga.. Additional survivors include two daughters Sharon Sloan husband Barry from Elgin, SC and Katherine Inglett of Augusta, Ga her fiance Thomas King of Martinez, Ga, one brother James Bartley of England, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew. The funeral mass will be held Tuesday October 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Thomas L. King Chapel with Father Michael Hull celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Suburban Women's Club of Augusta. The interment at Bellevue Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date.
