Mrs. Kathleen "Kathie" Myrtle Dudzic Hucks, 67, originally of Detroit, Michigan, passed away abruptly on October 28, 2021.

Kathleen Dudzic was born on December 15, 1954, to Henry Dudzic and Shirley Gertrude Lucas. She graduated from Garden City East High School in 1972 and went two years at Michigan State University. Kathie met her beloved husband James "Bud" Frank Hucks III in 1981 and wed in 1984 with a long career as a painter. Going on to have a daughter Nicole Ashley Hucks, and a grandaughter of her own namesake Shadoria Kathleen Hucks. She retired in 2013 after a long 18 year career at Waffle House and 5 years working with her husband. She loved sitting with her loving husband and grandaughter watching her Carolina Panthers play every Sunday.

She is survived by her loving husband James "Bud" Frank Hucks III; her two daughters, Tammy "Tam Tam" Renee Hucks Poos, and Nicole Ashley Hucks; her two sisters Patricia "Patty" Lambert, and Bernadette "Bernie" Winecoff; and a host of grandchildren, and a great grandchild.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday November 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at First Pentecostal Church of Grovetown, 710 Chamblin Rd., Grovetown GA 30813, with Pastor Dewain French officiating. Florists please deliver all flowers on Saturday to the church. Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
