Katherine Murray, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 6, 2022. She was born in Hazard, KY. Kathy retired from MCG School of Dentistry when her first grandchild was born. The greatest joy of her life was being Meemaw to her five grandchildren.

Kathy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles C. Murray. She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie Jones and Launa Combs; her son, Charles Patrick Murray (Laura); and five grandchildren, Davis, Chloe, Carson, Brayden and Emma Kate Murray.

The family will receive friends from 9:30am-11:00am on Saturday December 10, 2022, at Thomas L King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday December 10, 2022, in the Chapel at Thomas L King Funeral Home with burial immediately following at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30904. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any donations to go to Via Cognitive Health formerly the Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer's Care.

Pallbearers will be Joe White, John Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Austin Anderson, Brian Clements, and Jamie Plowman.
