Karl Vincent Adams, Sr., 74, of Augusta, Georgia entered in to rest Friday, September 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Elmer Adams, Jr.; mother, Pearl Perry Adams; and wife, Lisa Sharp Adams. Surviving family members include his sons, Karl Vincent Adams,Jr. (Meaghan) and Brian Adams (Stephanie); brother, Thomas Adams III (Linda); sister, Carol Hoover (David); grandchildren, Corbin, Kathryn, Brinlee, Peyton, Waylon, and Fallon Adams; nieces and nephews, Michael Hoover (Kim), Jason Hoover (Donna), Thomas Adams (Kim), Marissa Adams, Adam Hoover (Ellen), Steve Adams (Evy), Jonathan Adams (Motsy), and John Adams (Vanessa). Karl was a crane operator by trade and retired in 2009 from the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 234. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing golf, racing cars, and tinkering/building things. He also loved to go on a boat to go fishing, shrimping, and crabbing. Karl was a very easy going and kind-hearted person who was always happy just to be with family and friends.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Monday, September 26th, 2022 at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907.
