Mrs. June L. Carter, 91, entered into rest peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday, December 1, 2023.

Mrs. Carter is survived by one daughter, Mary Rourke Horton (Donnie); five grandchildren, Paige Horton McGahee, Donnie Jay Horton Jr., Marion Earl Rourke (Rhonda), Tiffany Horton Wilson (Bobby), and Lisa Rourke Crowe (Shane); seven great-grandchildren, Dalton, Tanner, Hunter, Shelby, Hayden, Bobby, Cole; one great-great-grandchild, Grayson; and two bonus grandsons, J.D. and Tray.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Lee Carter; and her son, Marion "Buddy" Leon Rourke Jr.
