Julian Waylon "JW" Robertson, 72, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on June 7, 2026.
JW was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a hardworking man who spent many years as a truck driver, providing for his family through a career marked by dedication and perseverance. When he wasn't on the road, JW could often be found tending to his yard, cheering on his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide, or enjoying one of his favorite pastimes—cruising.
JW was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years, Debra Robertson; his parents, Julian and Etta Rhee Robertson; and all those who welcomed him into Heaven before his passing
.He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever: his brother, Roger Robertson (Donna); his children, Jearmie Robertson (Lacey), Bradley Robertson, Kelly Doss, and Charles Smith; and his treasured grandchildren, Cole Robertson, Gavin Swatzlander, Niya Robertson, Shawn Robertson, Calvin Hobbs, Kaitlyn Smith, and Cheyenne Smith. JW also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly and who held a special place in his heart.
The family would also like to acknowledge and thank his close friend, Ruby Kidd, for her friendship and support. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at the Dialysis Center on Tobacco Road for the exceptional care, compassion, and love they showed JW over the past several years. Your kindness meant so much to him and to all who loved him.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at King's Funeral Home in Martinez, Ga. beginning at 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., with interment immediately afterward at Westover Cemetery.
Though he will be deeply missed, JW's family finds comfort in knowing that his faith has become sight and that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord he loved so dearly. ROLL TIDE!
