Mrs. Judith Elaine Christian Jennings, beloved wife of John Carmen Jennings, Jr., for 63 years, entered into rest Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Jennings was born in Augusta to the late Foster and Josephine Strickland Christian. Mrs. Jennings was a member of Lumpkin Road Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 9, 2018 from the Chapel of Thomas L. King with Pastor Don Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jennings is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Leigh Jennings and a sister, Carolyn Bailey. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jennings is also survived by 2 sons, John "Chris" Jennings, III, of Edgefield, SC and Craig Christian Jennings of Martinez, GA; a daughter, Robin Elaine Balkema and her husband Martin of Evans, GA; a sister, Phyllis Diane Morris of Evans, GA; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
