MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest at University Hospital on Oct. 13, 2013, Mrs. Josephine U. Boerckel, wife of the late Ralph L. Boerckel, Jr. of Martinez. Mrs. Boerckel was the daughter of the late Rance and Ruby B. Usry. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Martinez Baptist Church. Survivors: 2 sons, Gary Boerckel and Ralph Boerckel; 1 daughter, Donna Lee; 1 sister, Hazel Jackson; 5 grandchildren, Amy James, Laura Raley, Stephanie Lee, Cathy Wilkins and Amber Holloway; 3 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on October 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bellevue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Navin Jeremiadoss officiating. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Boerckel will lie in state at the chapel one hour prior to service. Family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight, October 15, 2013, between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. Pallbearers: Randy Harvey, Brian James, Brian Wilkus, Dalton James, Evan James and Brinson Raley.
