Mr. Joseph Allen Sumner, 61, of Augusta GA, entered into rest on October 21, 2021. Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00, one hour prior to the service at the Bellevue Chapel.

Mr. Sumner was born in Dublin GA, and was an electrician.

He is survived by his 7 brothers, David Hattaway (Jackie),of Augusta, Jimmy Hattaway (Debbie), of Augusta, Kenny Sumner, of Augusta, Frank Steve Sumner (Sarah), of Blackshear SC, Robert Sumner Jr., of Dearing, Gary Sumner (Janet), of Augusta, and Terry Sumner of Augusta, and one sister Charlotte Sumner, of Augusta.
