Joseph
Graves
Mar 13, 1969 — Aug 18, 2026
Joseph William Graves was born on March 13, 1969 to Joseph Chance Graves and Judith Lee Silver. Joe left us on Monday, August 18, 2026. His passion for music reached many in the Augusta community and beyond, through sharing new releases from his favorite bands and his time on stage fronting for Neato Torpedo and Joe Graves and the Dirty Left Hand, among others. On his time off work, you could find him in his chair, yelling at any given Atlanta sports team on the TV or fishing with his buddies. Joe never failed to make you laugh with his natural wit and disarming personality. His loss is paramount to those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Denise Graves and his children, Wyatt Chance (Elizabeth) Graves, Camille Meade (Scott) Sackos, Griffin Allen (Dajha) Graves, and Joseph Turner Graves; his brother Troy Chance (Robert) Graves; his sister Mary Christine (Gabriella Tempesto) Graves; his mother-in-law Vicki Snow; his sisters-in-law Ashley Dean (Lance) McAnly, Allison Watkins (Christian) Cunningham; and his granddaughters Sullivan Tristesse and Violet Jane Graves; and many, many cousins, friends, and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate on his behalf to the Jessye Norman School of Arts at this link: https://jessye-norman-school-of-the-arts.monkeypod.io/give/jnsa-memberships
