MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest Monday, February 10, 2014 at University Hospital, Mr. John Jefferson Swint, Sr., 71, husband of Mrs. Linda Stewart Swint. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 14, 2014 in the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Terry Eubanks officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. John was born in Augusta, Ga. and was a welder and fabricator and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Survivors include: wife, Linda Stewart Swint; sons, Johnny (Dawn) Swint, Jr., Darrell Swint; daughter, Michelle (Lee) Shackelford; brother, Ricky Swint; grandchildren, Haley Shackelford, Dylan Swint, Dawson Swint, Kathleen Swint, Christopher Swint.
