John David Norred Martinez, GA Mr. John David Norred, 76, entered into rest Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at home surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Norred was the husband of Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" Norred. Mr. Norred served in the U. S. Marines and later worked for SRS as an IT. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, a member of the American Legion Post # 192, and a member of the USGA (the United States Golf Association). He loved his family and his dogs. He had an amazing sense of humor. He was an avid golfer. He never met a stranger, and had a heart the size of Texas. Memorial service is 4:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Reverend Greg Porterfield officiating. In addition to his wife, Mr. Norred is survived by 2 sons, Raymond Norred (Julie) of Evans, Georgia and Kevin Littrell (Kellie) of Acworth, Georgia; 3 daughters, Kandace Price of Aiken, SC, Kristina Gee (Mark) of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, and Suzanne Strickland, MD of Evans, Georgia; one sister, Susan Sifuentes of Eden, Texas; and 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Following the service, the family will have a Celebration of Life at the residence.
