John Raymond McDonald "Ray" 62, of Martinez, Ga entered into rest on August 1st, 2022, He was preceded in death by his father, John Rodney McDonald; his mother, Joyce Branton McDonald; and his brother Randall Edward McDonald. He is survived by his sister, Rita McDonald Jacobsen; his nephew, Gerald T. Funderburg III "Trey" (Ashley); and his niece, Traci Funderburg Carter (Doug), along with four great nieces and nephews.

He started his career with Southern Company located at Plant Vogtle where he spent his time as an accountant. Later in life he went to work as a security guard with Sizemore security. He was an amazing and generous man and will be deeply missed.
