MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. John A. Butch Weishaupt, Jr., 62, entered into rest Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Doctors Hospital. Mr. Weishaupt was born in Cortland, NY to the late John A. and Janice Finch Weishaupt, Sr. He spend most of his life in Augusta and worked for Tractor Equipment Corporation for 33 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Weishaupt is preceded in death by a brother, Gary Weishaupt; a sister, Darla Weishaupt; and a stepdaughter, Sherry Weishaupt. Mr. Weishaupt is survived by a a significant other of ten years, Ms. Martha Day; a son, John A. Weishaupt III of Charleston, SC; a daughter, Mary English and her husband Travis of Augusta, GA; a brother, Michael Weishaupt of North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Judy Daubert of Martinez, GA and Vicki Petty and her husband Tod of Atlanta, GA; and 6 grandchildren.
