John Calvin Sweatman Jr. "Johnny", 63, of Augusta, passed away on February 1, 2026.

Johnny was born and raised in Augusta GA. He was baptized at Clearview Baptist Church, the church his ' big ma ' helped establish as the 3rd member of many years ago. He graduated from Glen Hills High School. Most people knew Johnny from his younger days at the skating rink and riding his bike everywhere. He was a Elvis fan also. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth, his 'big ma',and his father, J.C.. 

He is survived by 3 sisters, Pamela Black ( Billy), Gina kersey,and Tammy Gray, and his aunt-Betty Gracey, lots of nieces and nephews, with lots of cousins. Great nieces and nephews also. 

 A celebration of Life and service will be announced at a later date.
