John H. Force, Jr., 84, entered into rest on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Mr. Force is preceded in death by his father, John Hayward Force, Sr.; his mother, Minnie Force; sister, Connie Jones; and his great-granddaughter, Emerson Zahner. He is survived by his son, Mike Force (Leslie); daughter, Debbie Force Cochran (David); grandchildren, Kristin Hutto, Mickey Force, Brian Sanders, Brad Sanders, Brent Sanders, and Melissa Zahner; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Force; and many extended family and friends.

John H. Force, Jr. was born October 03, 1939 in Edgefield, SC. Mr. Force joined the US Navy in 1958 and was honorably discharged in 1962. In 1966, Mr. Force started his ambitious journey with Force & Son Texaco being the first business of many to come. After the Texaco, his other businesses included Bonnett's Auto Center & Wrecking Yard, Magic Wand Car Wash, a trucking company that he ran with his brother, Larry, and Force's One Hour Cleanerizing Dry Cleaners- which, after getting out of the other businesses, was the only one he kept open and operating as owner for 50+ years, throughout five locations around the CSRA. Mr. Force was a charter member of local car club, Gas Car, that was founded in 1974. His hard work and dedication to his businesses allowed him to pursue his passion as an avid classic car collector, watching his collection expand to over 100 cars/bikes/trucks throughout the years.

The family will receive friends for a celebration of life visitation from 11:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA 30907.
