Ms. Jodie Elaine Hamilton, 56, entered into rest Friday, January 12, 2018 at University Hospital. Jodie was born in Augusta to Joseph C. Hamilton, Jr., and the late Kathryn R. Hamilton. She loved spending time with her family and had a love of horses that started at the age of 3 and also had a green thumb, was very talented with flowers, and later attended Horticultural School. Jodie was loved by all that knew her and will be missed. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Magnolia Cemetery in Waynesboro, GA with Pastor Dave Dillard officiating. In addition to her mother, Jodie was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Lynn Hamilton. In addition to her father, Jodie is also survived by a sister Patti Hamilton Shirey of Evans, GA.
