Jimmie Lee Gonnella, 83, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at home peacefully with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Carmine Rocco Gonnella. She spent a few years of her life in Old Bridge, NJ, but lived most of her life in Augusta. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. If anyone ever needed anything, she never told them no. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She is survived by her children, Carmine Anthony Gonnella, Denise Price (Donnie), Richard Gonnella (Dana), Bobby Gonnella (Susan); sisters, Dorothy Marion and Shirl Kay; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in the Chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
