Jessie Mae Lewis, 86, of Evans, passed away on June 15, 2025.

Jessie was a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed dancing, chocolate, and red was her favorite color.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Billy Lewis Sr.; her parents, Richard and Susie Faulkner; her siblings, George Faulkner, and Thelma Miller; and her son, Richard Dale Lewis.

Survivors include her three children, Dianne Hanley (John), Billy Lewis, Jr. (Vicki), and Susan Stewart (Rickey); four grandchildren, Joy Stewart (Allen), John Hanley, Jr. (Jessica), Tabitha Strickland (Mark), and Jonathon Dale Lewis (Cara); five great grandchildren, Keeley Rivera (Felipe), Kylee Strickland, Penelope Lewis, Joplin Hanley, and Jessa Lewis; and 2 great great grandchildren, Ivy Mae Rivera, and Presley Rivera.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 20, 2025, at 12:30 PM in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Billy Lewis Jr., John Hanley, John Hanley Jr., Dale Lewis, Rickey Stewart, Mark Strickland, Felipe Rivera, and Allen Stewart.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations be to the Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) foundation or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
