Jerri Elizabeth Augustine, 57, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Jerri is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Ivey; her father, J. Don Hatcher; her brother, Kenneth Hatcher; and her son, Steven Restrepo. She is survived by her sons, Michael Stringfellow and his wife Mikayla, Tj Augustine, and Cj Augustine; her daughters, Aimee Hatcher and her fiancé Nick Campbell, Aggie Augustine, and Velma Augustine; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Augustine, Nathan Hill, Jason Hill, and Lincoln Hill; and her brother, Donnie Hatcher.

Jerri was such a loving and caring person. She adored her children and grandchildren more than anything in this world. Her favorite color was green, and she loved Elvis, so much that she named her dog after him. Her favorite things to do were spend time with her family, cook, color pictures on her phone, and watching her Christmas movies, cooking shows, crime shows, and soap operas. She was a well-known teacher for many years and loved all of her students very much. She opened her arms and heart to anyone she knew, and would treat them like family. If you knew Jerri, then you knew just how amazing she was. She will be greatly missed by so many.
