On August 7th, 2026 Jennifer entered into her final rest after a 10 year battle with breast cancer. Jennifer received Last Rites from Father Andrew of St. Mary's and was surrounded by her husband and children. She was a loving wife, loving mother, loving daughter, and a light to all around her. Jennifer graduated from Evans High School in 1991 where she was the Captain of the flag corps. Jennifer loved her time working with veterinarians throughout all of her school years. She graduated from Augusta College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1995. She earned her Masters Degree from West Georgia College then taught at Springwood School in Lanett, AL for 2 years. Her true calling was becoming a mother. From 2001 through 2015 she delivered 8 amazing babies that she loved and guided with all her strength. Jennifer had a keen interest in essential oils and her hobbies included scrapbooking, cake decorating, watching her kids sports and school activities, doing her nails, and recently competing with the family on the daily wordle. She always centered on her family, church, friends, and community.

Jennifer is survived by her husband of 30 years Chris Charney, and her 8 children: Evan (Alexandria) Charney, Sarah Charney, Luke Charney, Joseph Charney, Rebekah Charney, Emma Charney, Elizabeth Charney, and Julie Charney. She is also survived by her Parents Donald Evans of Martinez, GA and Deborah Evans of Surfside, SC; her sister Kayron Evans of San Francisco, CA and her brother Robert Evans of Thompson, GA. 

In lieu of flowers or donations, please say a prayer and love your family. This would hold a special place for her and the Charney family, to celebrate life and God's blessings.

A memorial service will be set at St Teresa's of Avila Parish in Grovetown, GA, pending cremation.
