Jeffery Thomas Fanning, 64, of Martinez, Ga, peacefully passed away on July 29th at 9:22am surrounded by the love of his best friend, Concetta Knox.

Jeff was born on May 11, 1962, in Washington, Ga. He was the beloved child of the late Ruben and Sandra Fanning, but most people called them Thomas and Sandra. Throughout Jeff’s life, he was known for his positive qualities, such as kindness, generosity, compassion, and dedication.

Jeff worked at WOW company for 22 years. He was a supervisor at the call center till he became a process integration developer-CX. He was seen regularly singing karaoke, picking the perfect one hit wonders, or jamming with his bandmates, Scott and Poppy. His love for these two were amazing and simply priceless and it wasn’t just for the milkshakes Scott would bring him on a regular basis.

Jeff is survived by his loving best friend, Concetta Knox. He was the bonus dad for her children Daylyn, Summer, and Emily; his biological children, Bryan (Cristin), Sarah (Jerry), and Muriel (Jesse). His grandchildren were his pride and joy; Marlie, Emma, Edie, Asher, Ellenwyn, and Willow; and his favorite sister, Angie (Dennis). Even though he did not like hanging out a lot socially, he did have lots of people who knew him and became very close friends with some. Thank you for loving him!

The love, wisdom, and memories shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3pm to 4pm at Kings Funeral Home at 124 Davis Road. Celebration of Life service will immediately following at the same location at 4pm.
