Entered into rest on October 24,2017 Mrs. Jeannine Brown Gooding wife of the late John Randolph Gooding of Appling Ga. A graveside service will be held Friday Oct.27,2017 at 1;00pm at Pierce Memorial Church Cemetery with Chaplain Hephzibah James officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers family request donations to be made to Pierce Memorial Cemetery fund or Shiloh church building fund 5970 Cobbham Rd .Appling Ga. Mrs. Gooding graduated from La Grange College and The University of Georgia. She taught school at John Milledge Elementery and at Gracewood State School and Hospital .She was named Richmond County school teacher of the year in 1970 by The Council for Exceptional Children. She was very active and played the organ at Pierce UMC for 15 years .and was very active at Shiloh Church serving as administrative council,chairman of church membership and secretary. Mrs. Gooding is survived by 2- sons- Randy Gooding(Jenny)- Appling Ga.& Glenn Gooding -Appling Ga. 1- Grandson-Casey Gooding(Lori)- Tallahassee Fla. 1- Great Grandson- Jacon Gooding -Tallahassee Fla.Thomas L.
