MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Javis Fred Presley entered into rest Sunday, April 3, 2016 at University Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty Bennett Hixon Presley; Mr. Presley was born in Greeneville, TN to the late Perry and Lula Fields Presley. He was a member of Lewis United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 from the Chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Bradford officiating. Interment services will be 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. In addition to Mrs. Betty Presley, Mr. Presley was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jane Presley, a son, Joseph Presley and a daughter, Mary Presley. Family members include two sons, Timothy F. Presley of Martinez, GA, and Perry A. Presley of Evans, GA; four daughters, Bridget M. Hunt and her husband Al of Port Townsend, WA, Darlene E. Presley of Caruthersville, MO, Valerie J. Presley of Calhoun, GA, and Justine A. Presley of Calhoun, GA; one brother, and Archie B. Hixon and his wife Julie of North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Connie H. Atterton and her husband Kenneth of Grovetown, GA, and Lisa J. Hixon of Atlanta, GA; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
