Janie J. Jones departed this world to be with the Lord October 21, 2025 at the age of 94.

As a hobby, she began catering wedding Receptions, Anniversaries, Holiday meals for families including cakes and pastries.  She was actively involved in the mini - breakfast at her church

Although her passion was baking, gardening and maintaining her home, her greatest passion was taking care of disabled children at Gracewood State School and Hospital until she retired.

Janie is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Sally Ward, and her husband, Henry H. Jones.

She is survived by her son, James Jones (Ginger) of Calhoun, Georgia; her daughter, Wanda Memory of Hephzibah, Georgia; granddaughters, Allison Pace, Dana Tankersley and Ashley Flowers (Dwayne); great grandchildren, Jake Flowers and Tucker Tankersley.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at Westover Memorial Park Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Jude Children Research Hospital or the Shriners Children Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.
