Janet Adkinson Taitague was called home on January 13, 2019. She is now forever united with her father, Leon Thomas Adkinson; her mother, Quincey Johnson Adkinson; her son, Gregorie Taitague; and her sisters, Dorothy Combee (Johnnie); Marguerite Roig (Jack) and Geraldine Everett Hooks. Janet was born April 16, 1944 in Plant City, Florida. She was a devoted military wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, always putting their needs ahead of her own. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gregorio Taitague; her daughter Quinann Taitague; grandchildren; Chris Blackburn (Shelly,) Damien Taitague, Devin Taitague, Chelsea Finch and Dakota Finch. Her great grandchildren; Scarlett Walden, Bentley Blackburn, Brooklynn Blackburn and Lincoln Finch. Her sisters Louise Condron (Ronnie) and Leonette Shope, as well as many nieces and nephews. It was always Janet's wish to spend her final days at home. Thanks to the loving and dedicated care of Shannon, Lakisha, Jasmine, Sad'e and Hassie, Janet's final wish was fulfilled. Interment will be held Saturday January 26, 2:00 PM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Janet's Life will be held immediately after at Eubank Blanchard Community Center. Thomas L.
