Mr. James Martin Wallace, beloved husband of, Vickie B. Wallace, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Thursday, November 2, 2017 during PT Testing for the Richmond County Sheriff's Department where he was employed since 2010. James is survived by his wife of 25 years, Vicky B. Wallace, their son, Kevin James Wallace (his wife Nikki) and granddaughter Kayleigh Nicole Wallace and two other sons, Sean and Jason and his mother (Maggie Wallace). James was a very loving, devoted, and caring husband and father. James was a true and loyal friend and always there for anyone who needed a helping hand. James also had a great love and compassion for all animals. James had been a dedicated and well respected police officer of the Richmond County Sheriff's Department for seven years. James also worked as a correctional officer at the Augusta State Medical Prison for three years in the 1990's. James will always be loved and truly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers. There will be a Celebration of Life Visitation on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Thomas L. King Funeral Home.
