James Mitchell Vause Jr, 77, of Augusta, passed away on March 10, 2025.

James was a longtime native of Augusta and former truck driver. He served his country for over 7 years in the United States Airforce. He was a hardworking man and when not working he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was an avid GA Bulldogs fan (GO DAWGS!). He loved all of his family and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Vause; his children, Shaun Vause, Carter Vause, Lisa King, and Deborah Donald; his aunt, Lillian Stewart; 2 grandchildren, Natalie and Jennifer; and 2 great grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Trey.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 24, 2025 at Mosaic Church Evans, 478 Columbia Industrial Blvd. Evans GA 30809. Florists please deliver flowers to the church.
