MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest July 23, 2014 at his residence. Mr. James A. Swint, 87, husband of Mrs. Earline Coursey Swint. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tim Pendry officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery. The family will receive friends today at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Mr. Swint was born in Augusta, Ga. He served with honor in the U.S. Navy. James worked as a Press Operator for Marcal Printing Company, retired as a Supervisor for Claussen Bakery. He loved fishing, taking walks, and gardening. James and Earline were happily married 64 years. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Nell Swint. Survivors include sons, Chuck (Kim) Swint, and Ricky Swint; daughter, Brenda (Joe) Hoehn; brother, William Bill (Maggie) Swint; sister, Sissy Deeson; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
