MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. James Robert Baker, Sr., "Bobby", 77, entered into rest Monday, January 12, 2015 at University Hospital. Mr. Baker is the beloved husband of the late Barbara Ann Baker. He was born in Augusta to the late John B. Baker and Nettie E. Rodgers. He was a member of Double Branches Baptist Church. Mr. Baker served in the U.S. Air Force and had been a Vice President of Operations for Hardees. Mr. Baker is survived by four sons, Jimmy Baker, Tommy Baker, Andy Baker, and Greg Baker; a daughter, Terri Finch; a brother, Gene Baker; a sister, Glenda Widener; and 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, January 16, 2015 at Bellevue Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Keith Finch officiating. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mr. Baker will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Thomas L.
