MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. James Jimmy Ray, 71, beloved husband of Dorothy H. Ray, entered into rest Sunday, January 31, 2016 at his residence. He was born in St. Petersburg, FL to the late John and Laura McDonald Ray. Mr. Ray was a Baptist, and a big GA Bulldawg Fan, a Nascar Fan, and loved driving for AT&T during Masters week. He was a great husband, father and PaPa. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. at the Thomas L. King Chapel on Thursday, February 4, 2016 with Reverend Phillip Winsett officiating. The interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers; Robert Sakers, Ikey Amerson, John Arnold, Dalton Ray, Rod Amerson, George Walton Family members include a son, Kevin Ray and his wife Tracy of Evans, GA; a daughter, Stacey Sakers and her husband Robert of Harlem, GA; a sister, Margie Amerson and her husband Ikey; four grandchildren, Dalton Ray, Kailee Sakers, McKenzie Ray, and Chase Sakers, and several nieces and nephews.
