James Edward Dempsey, Jr., "Bubba", 52, entered into rest on Monday, February 23, 2023.

James was born in Augusta, Georgia, on September 10, 1970, to Katherine (Ledbetter) and James Edward Dempsey, Sr.

James was always the life of the party and was a loving father, brother, and uncle. He was a lifelong resident of Augusta and will always be remembered for his outgoing personality and the love he had for his family.

James is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his two children, Ashley Nicole Dempsey and Chad Edward Dempsey; two brothers, Michael Dempsey and Travis Dempsey; and his two nieces, Jennifer Culbreth Dempsey and Lindsey Briard.
