James Edward Brown, 48, entered into rest on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

James is survived by his children, Trevor James Brown (18), McKenna Rae Brown (15), and Rebekah Faith Brown (8); ex-wife, Melissa Brown; parents, James A. Brown and Glenda A. Brown; sister, Maria Denise Anderson; brother, Robert Allan Brown; and fiancee, Stacey Miller.

James was born September 13, 1975, in Stuart, FL. He graduated from Evans High School in Evans, GA, in 1995, and played drums in marching band in high school where he participated in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in 1993. James graduated from Aiken Technical College with a double Associates Degree in Automotive Technology and Welding, and he worked at Bavarian Mechanic Works as an Automotive Technician since 1994.

James loved riding dirt bikes, sport bikes, and most recently BMX bikes. He competed in Motocross from 1985 - 1999, and raced sport bikes with WERA from 2003 - 2009.

James was a Boy Scout leader for 22 years, a 4-H Robotics mentor for 8 years, and he also volunteered with Augusta Ballet and performed as various roles in their performances for the past 2 years.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends for a celebration of life visitation from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA 30907.
