Mr, James Theron Athon, Jr. 60, beloved husband of Kathy Jo Athon, entered into rest Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Mr. Athon was born in Jesup, GA to James T. Athon, Sr., and the late Lurilene Poole Athon. Mr. Athon was employed by the Augusta Chronicle. Family members include a son, Joshua D. Athon, wife Jani, of Keysville, GA; a daughter, Jennifer L.
