Butcher - Retired Food Lion Entered into rest on December 25, 2016 Mr. Jack Edward Borst of Grovetown, Ga. Graveside services will be held Wednesday December 28, 2016 at 1:00pm at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the funeral home. Mr. Borst was a baptist and a member of the Lumpkin Road Baptist Church. He was in the US Army E-4. He loved to play poker with his poker buddies. He was a member of the American Legion Post 205. He was a volunteer during Christmas time at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center - Uptown. He always referred to himself as "Nice Guy Jack" and was a loving and caring person to all. Mr. Borst is preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Linda Gayle Borst. He is survived by his daughter Jean Robinson (husband James) of Evans, GA, two sisters Gay Thompson of Escondido, CA. and Carol Barnick of San Dimas, CA, 3 Grandchildren, Jennifer, Julia, Jeremy Robinson and a special niece and caregiver Rosalyn Berlin.
