Izora Priester Davis, 80, entered into rest on Thursday, September 28, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Cleo and Leon Madden and the late Frank Priester.

Zora is survived by her sons, Grayson W. Mayfield III, Gary Mayfield (Lonna), Christopher Mayfield, and Martin "Buddy" Kneece; sisters, Mary Sivertsen and Janice McCaw (John); brother, Otis Priester (Kim); grandchildren, Rebecca Hayden (Mike), Thomas Mayfield (Brittany), Carrie Mayfield, and Joshua McCaw; great-grandchildren, Daniel Davis, Layla Mayfield-Ayer, Landon Mayfield, Grayson Addy, Phoebe Mayfield, Meira Mayfield, and one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Zora was preceded in death by a sister, Addie Lee Gamo; and granddaughter, Cayce Lynn Mayfield.

A celebration of life service for Zora will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Metropolitan Community Church of Our Redeemer, 557 Greene St., Augusta GA 30901, with the Rev. Marc Trimm officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation at the church one hour prior to service time.
