AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Inez Haney Wren, 96, entered into rest Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Golden Living Nursing Home. Mrs. Wren was born in Greenwood, SC to the late Marvin and Edna Davis Haney. Mrs. Wren was the beloved wife of the late James "Red" Wren and she had retired from Cullum's Department Store. She was a member of Marks Church. Fondly remembered by family as an exceptionally loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to Mr. Wren, Mrs. Wren is also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra L. Church. Funeral services will be graveside 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Dr. Michael Davenport. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. Family members include two daughters, Darlene Atkins and her husband Fred of Harlem, GA and Sherrill Duckro and her husband Larry of Boulder, CO; three granddaughters, Toni Cosby, Tracey Jordan, and Sandy Sherry, all of Harlem; a grandson, Rick Church of Oak Harbor, Washington; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
